At the AhlulBayt Assembly of Kenya (ABAK), our mission is guided by a series of well-defined programs and objectives. These focus on spiritual guidance, community development, education, and empowerment. Each objective represents a step toward creating a more informed, unified, and compassionate society rooted in the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s) .
Propagation of Islam (Tabligh) according to the Madh-hab Ahlul Bayt (a.s)
ABAK is dedicated to spreading the teachings of Islam as understood through the lens of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s). By promoting Tabligh rooted in compassion, knowledge, and authenticity, ABAK seeks to guide individuals toward spiritual awareness while preserving the true essence of Islamic values in the Kenyan context.
Strategies for implementation
- Preaching Islamic teachings as per the AhlulBayt (a.s) school of thought, through different channels.
- Conducting of short courses, seminars, workshops and correspondence courses.
- Collecting and distributing of Islamic literature and Publications.
- Hosting of key events to celebrate significant Islamic occasions, such as Eid, Muharram, and other religious festivals.
- Organizing exhibitions that showcase Islamic art, history, and cultural contributions.
- Promoting religious dialogues in understanding the beliefs and norms of Islam and other faiths
